Product Introduction:
KG High-Performance Water-Based EPDM Rubber Waterproof Coating, which was granted Patent No. ZL92 1 13368.5, is formulated using high-aging-resistant EPDM rubber as the base material. It contains reinforcing agents, fillers, anti-aging agents, UV-resistant additives, and accelerators. The production process employs a special formulation and a unique technique—using "water as a solvent substitute" (Patent No. ZL92 1 13040.6)—as the rubber solvent (dispersion medium) to create this water-based coating.

1. Approved by expert appraisal organized by the former Ministry of Chemical Industry, this technology boasts a domestically leading level and originality, featuring China’s unique waterproof production processes and technologies.
2. Has received the National Certificate for Scientific and Technological Achievements and the invention patent for “Water-Based Solvent.”
3. It exhibits excellent rubber-like elasticity, elongation, waterproof performance, crack resistance, and film-forming properties.
4. Excellent resistance to aging, high-temperature resistance (above 100°C), low-temperature resistance (below -20°C), and outstanding weatherability.
5. Cold application, with simple construction operations. Adjust the concentration by adding water according to the substrate and weather conditions—convenient and straightforward.
6. Depending on the requirements of the waterproofing project, this product can be applied as a standalone coating for waterproofing purposes, or it can be combined with fiberglass mesh or non-woven fabric to form “one fabric and four coatings” or “two fabrics and six coatings” waterproofing layers. Alternatively, it can be used in combination with other materials to achieve composite waterproofing.
Scope of application:
Roofs: concrete roofs, sloped roofs, gutters, canopies, and various irregular roof types; underground structures; concrete interior walls, exterior walls, floors, elevator pits, underground tunnels, caissons, pipelines, and more.
Joints: expansion joints, construction joints, wall penetration joints, wall penetration pipes, and drain outlets.

Precautions
1. Material Storage: Strictly prohibit exposure to high temperatures and direct sunlight. If the container lid is opened, seal it tightly immediately after use. The storage environment temperature should not be lower than 5℃.
2. If there is sediment, it will not affect the quality; simply stir well and it’s ready for normal use.
3. When the coating is too thick, a film forms on the surface, inhibiting the evaporation of internal moisture. It is advisable to apply thin coats and repeat the application several times.
4. The drying time of the coating is affected by the coating thickness and weather conditions; adjustments should be made according to the on-site environment.
Reference dosage
When the waterproof coating film thickness is 1 mm, the consumption rate is approximately 1.2 to 1.5 kg/㎡.
